BONUS SEO LESSON: [LESSON 3/5]: SEO WRITING

Hey guys, I am super excited that you've made it this far in this Free SEO Course.

I appreciate the time, and the trust that you've given to me to share

the knowledge that I have with you.

Thank you so much. Now, here's a Recap of what we have covered in the previous lessons:

In the first lesson, we talked about how top websites can rank fast on Google. I also shared about 3 of my blog posts that started ranking in less than 7 days of publishing.

In lesson 2, we discussed an easy step-by-step process to generate content ideas. And in lesson 3, we talked about my unique SEO keyword research hack.

Now in today’s SEO lesson, I will show you how to write an SEO blog page that ranks very fast on Google or any search engine. From scratch to finish.

Ready?

Let’s begin…

You see, writing blog posts for search engines has been my favorite thing to do. I've been writing blog post articles for Google for the past decade.

Writing blog posts for SEO (or search engines) has changed completely.

One example,

Most times website owners and SEOs think about one headline per post. One question per blog post.

That is not the case today.

A topic cluster is super helpful in SEO writing today. And this is why I don't like using the TERM "blog post" - I PREFER "SEO Blog Page".

Let me explain…

Let's assume I am writing a post on "The Definitive Guide to Weight Loss".

Rather than writing a post on either of these;

  • the best with loss drugs, or,

  • medicine and supplement for weight loss...

I would create an entire SEO blog page like:

"The Definitive Guide to Weight Loss". The post will answer these questions;

"The Definitive Guide to Weight Loss". The post will answer these questions;
"People also ask"

  • most effective with loss programs,

  • best weight loss drugs,

  • weight loss medicine,

  • best weight loss supplements,

  • the best type of exercise for weight loss,

  • best products,

  • best diet,

  • good foods to eat for losing diet,

  • is a ketogenic diet before loss and many more.

With headlines like these:

"Related Searches"
"Related Searches"
  • weight loss tips

  • extreme weight loss methods

  • weight loss tips at home

  • how to lose weight in 7 days

  • weight loss pills

  • how to lose weight fast naturally and permanently

  • weight loss treatment

  • weight loss drink

So rather than find one question and answer on a blog page, I create an entire blog page that covers the entire topic and answers all relevant questions.

Topic cluster in SEO content writing is very crucial and I feel like most website owners miss out on this.

The more related questions your blog post page answers, the easier it is for you to rank.

It is the easiest way to rank on Google. This is a secret most SEOs won't ever tell you because they are scared you might take their Google spot. But guess what?

That is the one reason I started this website, simonzaku.com.

To share SEO and Content secrets the big guys don't want you to know.

SEO Writing - My Easy Step-by-Step Formula

Here is a simple formula for writing SEO content. This process requires me to think in two ways:

  1. I think about my target customers and;

  2. I equally think about my product (or service).

This is so because every SEO blog post I publish must:

  1. attract my target customer (or client),

  2. educate my ideal customer with top-value content, answer all of their burning questions, and,

  3. offer a solution (my product).

I call these the 3 Es of writing engaging blog posts.

  • the first E is to entice the target audience to read,

  • the second E is to educate them on a particular subject or topic, and;

  • the third E is to excite them about my products and services.

Keep these in mind whenever you're writing SEO content.

  • Every blog post page must target an SEO keyword (or topic)

  • The blog post must entice my target customers to read (because it solves a problem they face)

  • The post must educate them (or help them solve a particular problem)

  • And finally, the blog post must excite them about my products and/or services.

Get the idea?

Here are some technical SEO blog writing tips to keep in mind when writing SEO content:

  1. Give a lot of white spaces in between.

  2. Add YouTube videos within my SEO blog posts.

  3. Don't force keywords.

  4. Use H2 and not H1 within your pages.

  5. Insert images and always use alt.

  6. Ultimately, find your perfect mood, sweet spot, or just what works for you (for me, I record my blog posts and convert them to blog posts as I explain my posts better).

SEO writing takes time and some level of experience to master.

This is why I created this website in the first place.

For people, businesses, website owners just like YOU who;

  1. may not have the time to write human-written blogs,

  2. or the necessary SEO experience to write SEO articles or SEO pages that rank fast.

So, the first step to SEO writing is a detailed outline for the main article.

Secondly, I begin writing (or voice recording) the blog post by going through my written or drawn outline.

Finally, I proofread, publish and then I do what I call post-publish SEO checklist.

Now, that is about 50% of what gets you to rank on Google.

And that is what the next SEO lesson is about.

I reveal one secret post-publish secret I use.

What do I do after writing and publishing a blog post?

Do I wait for rankings? Do I submit it somewhere? What places can I share for the quickest rankings?

The next lesson (LESSON 4) answers all these. So see you there :)
